App Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how the Moments app handles data.
1. Controller
2. Data you create in the app
Moments lets you create and manage countdowns, reminders, and important dates. The data you enter in the app may include titles, dates, appearance settings, reminder settings, and optionally image data you add to your moments.
This data is stored locally on your device and in the app's shared local storage used for widgets.
3. No account, no analytics, no advertising
Moments does not require you to create an account.
Moments does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking, or profiling based on the current app implementation.
4. Notifications
If you enable reminders, Moments requests permission to send local notifications. Notification schedules are created on your device based on the moments and reminder options you choose.
Notification permission is optional and can be changed at any time in your device settings.
5. Calendar access
Moments can import events from your calendar and export moments to your calendar if you choose to use those features.
Calendar access is only used after you grant permission. Imported calendar data is used to create moments in the app. Exported data is written to the calendar you select.
6. Data sharing
The app does not send your moments data to the developer's servers based on the current app implementation.
Data may be processed by Apple where this is necessary for system features you choose to use, such as notifications, widgets, calendar access, App Store distribution, or device backups, under Apple's own responsibility.
7. Storage period
Your data remains stored until you delete it in the app, remove the app, or clear the app data through your device and system environment, subject to any system-level backup or retention behavior outside the developer's control.
8. Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, these rights may apply to you under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR or equivalent local rules.
For California residents, the app does not sell or share personal information and does not use personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising based on the current app implementation.
9. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated if the app changes, for example if online services, analytics, sign-in features, syncing, or additional data processing is added later.
10. Complaints
If you believe that your privacy rights have been violated, you may contact us using the contact details above and, where applicable, lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
